It is the best card for the generation of Ada Lovelace from Nvidia, and the graphics processor will come with support for a large GDDR6X memory of 24 GB.

The company says it's 2-4 times faster than the top-of-the-line RTX 3090 Ti, while still consuming roughly the same power. Nvidia recommends a minimum power supply of 850W based on a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5900X processor.

The RTX 4090 processor is powered by a gigantic 16,384 CUDA cores, and a 2.23GHz processing frequency that can go up to 2.52GHz.

NVIDIA RTX 4080 Specifications

Nvidia introduced two models of the RTX 4080 card, one with 12GB GDDR6X memory and the other with 16GB GDDR6X memory, and confirms that it is also 2-4 times faster than the previous generation RTX 3080 Ti.

The price of a 12GB memory option is $899, and it will come with 7,680 CUDA cores with a base frequency of 2.31GHz and go up to 2.61GHz.

As for the second option with 16 GB memory, it will reach a starting price of $ 1199, and it will work with 9728 CUDA cores and a base frequency of 2.21 GHz up to 2.51 GHz.

The first option will require a 700W power supply while the 16GB RAM model will need at least 750W of power and both models will launch with the RTX 4080 in November as previously mentioned.

The company said that all three cards announced today will support the new ShadowPlay technology, which is able to provide the best gaming experience with a resolution of up to 8K display and an image refresh rate of up to 60 frames per second in HDR mode.
